MEDIA ONE - Fiumicino Airport (Rome)

PROXIMA, for MediaOne, has designed and realized at the Fiumicino Airport, at the international arrives (B and C terminals) a Bluetooth advertising network composed by more units connected together inside a LAN and managed remotely via ADSL.

Thanks to an accurate valuation of the spaces, the implemented network is able to cover a wide range of over 15.000 square meters with the warranty of a good responsiveness despite to a high density of people. The black list at the zone level is able to avoid that a message sent by one of the unit inside the network could be sent again to the same user.

This permanent installation is the first of this type in Italy in confirmation of the leadership of PROXIMA in designing complex Bluetooth advertising networks.
